Level Two

A continuation of Level One. Level Two takes you up the neck for high variations of some songs, expands your vocabulary of licks, and introduces you to the melodic style.  Several arrangements by Glenn Laney (co-author, leader of “The Knoxville Grass and guest artist on the TV series) give you a foundation in a hard-driving, professional style of picking. The Banjo Experience contains five units, each consisting of seven lessons. Each lesson is a PowerPoint file with tablature on slides, and with audio buttons for slow and faster performance. Solos are played with backup instrumentation and a full band arrangement is included.

 

The lesson files run from 30 to 50 megabytes. Each unit of seven lessons is provided on a CD.
